MEE REBUS GRAVY



HOW TO MAKE MEE REBUS GRAVY?

10 shallots, 1.5 inch lengkuas (galangal), 3 sticks lemon grass, 100gm dried prawns, 3 tbsp salted soya bean (taucheo), 2 small packets of curry powder (Malabar Masala brand), salt & sugar to taste, 2 litres of water.

METHOD:

Grind all spices together. Mix together 2 tablespoon of plain flour with 1 bowl of water till smooth. Heat pan & add oil. Put in the spice mixture for the gravy & fry for about 5 mins. Pour in 2 litres of water, & add a pinch of salt, & sugar according to taste. When the gravy is boiling, slowly pour in the flour mixture to thicken the gravy. Stir well. Heat gravy through thoroughly.
